2010 ELE U16 National at Penn State300 teams arrived at Penn State July 5th - 9th to determine who was the best. Elmira Lady Express took 25th place with a 4-2 record.

First game the Lady Express played the Maryland Elite. The Elite packed it in a zone and the Lady Express put up 25 field goals for a 54-31 win. Katie Peterson, Raegan Ryan, and Jocelyn Ford led the evenly balanced scoring attack.

Second game put the Lady Express against the host Runnin Rebels from Philadelphia. With close to a 100 college coaches looking on the Lady Express lost 57-32.

Third game put the Lady Express against the Connecticut Cobra's. Cold shooting doomed the Lady Express. With a 39-33 lead with five minutes to go the Lady Express did not score and lost 43-39.

Fourth game put the Lady Express against the New Jersey Charms. A very exciting basketball game with lots of fast break baskets and unbelieveable shooting from the New Jersey team saw the contest go into overtime. The Lady Express outscored their opponets 13-3 in the overtime period for a 56-46 win.

Fifth game the Lady Express played Team Mass. The Lady Express were on fire both offensively and defensively. The final score was 58-37 for the Lady Express.

Sixth game saw the Lady Express play a very tall and talented Firm AC out of Scranton-Wilkes Barre. Offensively the Lady Express had their way with the zone minded Firm AC, and defensively the Lady Express's smothering man-to-man was too much for the Firm AC team. The final score was 53-29.

The 16/17 yr old National team now stands 29-7 for the season wiith two tournaments left; the Junior Nationals in Washington, DC and the Quaker City Challenge in Philadelphia.
