The Express finish 3-1 at Albany Invitational Tourney

The Lady Express 16/17 National team traveled to Albany, NY for the Albany Capitals Invitational bringing in the top AAU programs in the Northeast.

The Lady Express's first game was a rematch the the Connecticut Starters National team. The Lady Express beat the Starters at the Blue Chip in Richmond, VA, but came up short this time 45-33.

The second oppponet for the Lady Express was the Luminati's All-Stars. A very fast paced game saw the Lady Express come out with a very nice 59-47 win.

The third opponet was from down state the Future Stars. The Lady Express was back to full strength Sunday morning, and after a small power outage at Siena College, the Lady Express cruised to a 45-22 win.

The fourth and final opponet of the weekend was the Connecticut Shamrocks 16/17 National team. Every time these two teams meet, it has always been a highly competitve and well played basketball game. The Lady Express won their third game of the weekend 51-44 in front of D-II and D-III college coaches.

A very successful weekend; as always the girls played very well, played as a team, good shooting, and excellent passing led to some very easy baskets. Next up for the Lady Express will be STNY Flyers tourney June 5th-6th, and will be joined by our 13 yr old team at STNY touney as well.
