Elmira Lady Express 16/17 National team went to Richmond, Virginia April 16th-18th to play in the Blue Chip Exposure event. Some of the finest AAU teams from all over the Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, and Southeast attended.

The Lady Express lost their first game at University of Richmond Friday to Chester County Wizards from Philadelphia 47-41. Lady Express looked a little tired from the nine hour ride down. Second game at University of Richmond saw the Lady Express beat Stafford Vogues from Virginia 49-45. On Saturday at Virginia Commenwealth University, the Lady Express played NO Limit out of North Carolina and played very well with a good nights rest and won 57-30. Saturday afternoon Lady Express played the Connecticut Starters National team, and prevailed with a well played 50-45 victory.

Sunday morning the Lady Express were back at Virgina Commonwealth University to play Lady Pearl out of DC. Extremely uptempo game with a lot of physical play, saw the Lady Express pull out its 4th straight victory 45-39. A very successful tourney for the Elmira Lady Express against top notch competition saw the Lady Express average 48 points per contest while holding its opponets to 41.
